Lotem and Sigi — A Home Full of Life
I met Lotem while shopping for shoes.
A friend’s sandals caught my eye, and she sent me straight to his shop in Ramat HaSharon.
Looking back, he changed the way I think about shoes — and about how we walk through the world.
Somewhere along the way, he mentioned that his wife, Sigi, was about to give birth. I asked whether they’d done a maternity shoot.
He wasn’t exactly sold on the idea. But he went with it.
Their home was full of life.
Sigi — bouncy curls, an energy that lights up the room — is finishing her degree in veterinary medicine.
There’s Blacky and Whitey, two rescued dogs who found safety with them, and Gavri, the deaf cat, every bit as much family.
For Lotem and Sigi, love isn’t something you talk about. It’s something you do: making room for one more creature, and choosing kindness even when it asks a lot of you.
And now, a baby girl is about to join them.
I loved capturing them in this moment, just before everything changes again — a home already full of love, waiting for her.
Lotem even admitted that a maternity shoot wasn’t so bad after all.
That’s what I love most about maternity photography: not just documenting a growing belly, but the people and the life around it — and leaving them a keepsake from a moment that matters.
