White Days — Noam and Eyal
Noam and Eyal | White Days
I first met Noam and Eyal at the Dead Sea, where they chose to make their covenant of love beneath the open sky. Noam told me that at first she had wanted their chuppah song to be “Yamim Levanim” — “White Days”. When we arrived that morning we expected a deep blue sea, but instead we were given a sky so white that it was mirrored in the water and melted into it, one great white day.
And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any whiter, white umbrellas suddenly opened above the guests during the chuppah to shield them from the heat. It was a beautiful sight, as if the whole day had been woven around that one colour.
Noam and Eyal, both psychologists, are used to listening to other people’s stories. That morning, facing the sea and the sky, they stood together and began to tell their own.
